Hey, I’m Nam—a Sydney-based photographer with a thing for honest moments, raw light, and the magic that happens when no one knows they’re being photographed. My lens gravitates towards the streets, faces with stories, and those blink-and-you-miss-it scenes that speak louder than words.

By day, I work in emergency services, which has taught me to read a room fast, stay calm under pressure, and find beauty in chaos—all of which somehow spills into my work behind the camera. Photography isn’t just a creative outlet; it’s how I stay grounded, stay curious, and keep telling stories worth remembering.

Whether I’m wandering laneways with my Sony a6700 or catching a quiet moment between strangers on a busy street, I’m always chasing the kind of shots that make you feel something. I don’t believe in over-polishing or staging reality—just honest, human photography that captures a sense of time and place. This page is my running collection of those moments—unfiltered, sometimes funny, occasionally moody, but always real.

In addition to my street and portrait work, I’m currently building a photo series exploring the rhythms of urban life in Sydney—blending my perspective as an emergency services worker with a visual study of the city’s after-hours pulse. The goal? A future exhibition or print collection that captures the moments most people miss.
