This trip was supposed to be a healing journey—just two brothers setting out to reconnect after the loss of our older brother. What we got instead was a logistical nightmare, a touch of food poisoning, and my brother’s not-so-intelligent mate rear-ending him on a moped, leaving them both with matching scars (and matching trauma). Still, between the chaos, the stomach cramps, and the detours, we found what we were looking for: laughter, closeness, and moments that reminded us why we travel in the first place—even if it's with someone who thinks a moped handles like a MotoGP race bike
